The Department of Chemistry came into existence in the year 1979. Mr. Salim Ahmed was the founder Head and he led the Department with his guidance to make it into one of the attractive departments in the college. Besides the general regular classes, the Department always tries to meet the needs of the students with various tutorial classes and by organizing departmental seminars. All the faculty members are involved in various activities to promote science education among the society. The Departmental laboratory is well equipped with almost all types of required instruments.
